It is very hard to find a lockdown corner in the draft. It is the most difficult position to find in the draft aside from QB's. The 2011 CB class should be very good especially after a few juniors enter next year's draft. Let's take a look at this group:
Seniors
Ras-I Dowling (Virginia) - 6'2", 200 pound corner, athletic, physical, very good feet.
Prince Amukamara (Nebraska) - Had a coming out party in the 2009 season, has good size, strength, has the footwork and fluid hips.
Jimmy Smith (Colorado) - Lock down corner with perfect size.
Curtis Brown (Texas) - Experienced corner with good speed and athleticism. He is very good in run support.
Brandon Hogan (West Virginia) - Has the speed and quickness to stay with any receiver.
Kendric Burney (North Carolina) - He is an undersized corner with very good ball skills, he is competitive and feisty.
Davon House (New Mexico State) - Small school prospect with good size who has all of the physical tools to develop into the No.1 corner at the next level.
Underclassmen
Jr Patrick Peterson (LSU) - He should be a top 5 pick in next year's draft. He has the size, the speed and the athleticism. He can develop into a very special player at the next level.
Jr Aaron Williams (Texas) - Good instincts, very good in run support, and has fluid hips.
Jr Brandon Harris (Miami, FL) - great athlete with good speed. I am expecting big things from Harris this season.
Jr Janoris Jenkins (Florida) - He was overshadowed by Haden last year, now he will be the main man in the secondary for the Gators.
Feel free to add some names to the list. I am sure that I left someone out.
